Prototype programmeAn open foundation
The prototype is built around Raspberry Pi 4, OpenWrt and OpenMANET. Raptor development focuses on the operator interface, voice integration, hardware packaging and remote connectivity.
Local first. Remote when available.
The local mesh is the foundation. The planned backhaul service connects separated networks when an external connection is available; it does not replace the local radio network.
A consistent operator experience
The design goal is to keep channel names, transmit state and receive state consistent across the node, OLED and ATAK plugin. The node is the authoritative source of operational state.
What this website represents
This is a development overview, not a released product specification. Prototype evidence, integration work and research are separated throughout the site. No release date, certified range, battery endurance or service-level guarantee is announced.
